When is practice?

Bantam: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7-8:30pm

Peewee: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7-8:30pm

Squirt: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:45-6:45

U8: Wednesday from 6:15-7:15 and Friday from 6:30-7:30

Learn to Skate: Wednesday from 5:15-6:15 and Friday from 5:45-6:30

The Ashland Youth Hockey Association offers a fun, fast‑paced youth hockey program for players ages 4 –14. Our season typically runs from October through early March, giving kids a great way to stay active and engaged all winter long.

We field co-ed teams at multiple age and skill levels:

• 6U/8U (Mites): Introductory level focused on skating, basic skills, and having fun.
• 10U (Squirts): Builds teamwork and core hockey fundamentals.
• 12U (Peewees): Continued skill development with more competitive game play.
• 14U (Bantams): Advanced techniques, game strategy, and higher‑level competition.

AYHA is dedicated to providing an inclusive, supportive environment where every player can learn, grow, and discover a love for hockey.

AYHA also offers Learn to Skate (LTS) and Ice Explorer programs for those just starting their skating journey. These sessions are typically 1-2 times per week for an hour or less. They are instructor led to develop basic ice skating skills without any focus on hockey. More information coming soon.
